"Put the Mouse on the 'X' and Click"

I wasn't able to be around Maude most of the day because of work and her leaving to go see Sweeney Todd, so I did not get too many more chances to anger her today. However, I did get to talk to her before calling it a night and going to sleep so I do have so of what made her pissed while she was away.

I was scheduled tonight and tomorrow to work so I was unable to attend the musicals with her, so she had hoped she could convince her mother to accompany her. Last night Maude called her mom and she agreed to come with. Case closed. Unfortunately for Maude and her plans, her mother wasn't feeling well so she didn't want to go. This caused Maude to get into an anger-fest with the rest of her family. These fights usually include ear piercing screams and possible curse words. The length of the fight is unknown but being accustom to these fights, probably lasted 15 minutes ending with Maude storming out of the room. This isn't to say that they have an unhealthy relationship, this is just how the Engstroms handle disputes.

I did end up almost getting one last angry Maude during the conversation. Woot.com's daily sale today (April 18th) is a netbook for $249.99 that includes an external DVD burner and a few other accessories. Maude absolutely hates using my computer, mainly because I am a nerd and like to mess with things, and she really wants her own computer for herself. I mentioned during our conversation the daily Woot item, this is how she responded. "Her: Mat. 'pause' Me: What? You always say you want a new computer. Her: Mat. Put the mouse on the 'X' and click."
