Woke up early this morning to go into a employee meeting at the FamVid. Maude had to work her last Saturday at INB. She was up before me, I had an extra hour of sleep, enjoyed it. Finally rolled out of bed and she was getting ready in the bathroom, I hobble into the shower that wakes me up all nice, especially because there was no hot water. Walked back in the room to get dressed, Maude was still getting ready. I walked in front of her and stopped hoping to either get a kiss or a hug. She storms past me and says "I'm already going to be late! I don't have time for this!" First time pissing her off for the day. It is 7:30am.
Maude is going to see Sweeney Todd, her favorite musical, today at Monmouth College. She knows the musical backwards and forwards, reminding me all morning by singing a different chorus every 30 seconds. Let me inform the audience that it is 7:30am and I am not a morning person. She starts into the finale and I politely (in my head it was polite) say "Maude, jesus". She replies with a "God!" and storms out of the room, slamming the door on her way out. Pissed off twice and it is only 7:45 in the morning.
It is going to be a good day.
